Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts – Thanksgiving Side Dish
If you’re looking for a healthy Thanksgiving side dish, that is still a TOTAL crowd pleaser – look no further. These maple bacon brussels sprouts are the perfect addition to any holiday meal. And with the bacon-brussels ratio the people ACTUALLY want, keto-friendly maple syrup, & the help of an air-fryer, these taste WAY more indulgent than they actually are🙌🏼
RECIPE: THANKSGIVING AIR-FRIED MAPLE BACON BRUSSELS SPROUTS
WHAT YOU NEED
- ~8 cups brussels sprouts (halved or quartered, depending on the size)
- 1 pack organic bacon (pasture-raised if you can find it)
- 1/3 cup Lakanto monkfruit maple syrup (or sub real maple syrup)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
HOW TO MAKE EM
- Combine maple syrup, olive oil, vinegar & spices and mix thoroughly
- Cut brussels in half (or quarters depending on the size) and coat thoroughly with the seasoning mixture
- Add to the air fryer – to get the most *crisp* possible, split into 2 batches, then air-fry at 350 for 18-20 minutes – stirring halfway through; repeat for the second batch
- Serve & enjoy!
If you can tolerate dairy, these would also be epic with a little goat cheese👌🏼 And you can make these vegetarian friendly by simply omitting the bacon
